If you are looking for an Izakaya restaurant in Fukuoka that serves high quality dishes at very reasonable prices, then this place is a must for you. Introducing Seimon Barai, a very popular Izakaya restaurant located in Nakasu; yes it's near the red light district fyi. Do make a reservation if you want to come here because it is always packed. One thing about Seimon Barai is that I had the impression that it was well known among the international community since it always appears when I google about Fukuoka Izakaya food. However, I didn't see a single foreigner in the restaurant that night, strange right? But that's not really important, the food was fantastic and the price performance was very reasonable, in fact I'd say it was great price performance! These are not all the food that my family and I ate (I didn't manage to snap a few because they were quickly devoured and quite a few were repeat orders), so bear in mind that there are many other good dishes served to us that night. I would come back here for sure the next time I visit Fukuoka.
