Although located quite a drive away from the main Hakata area in Fukuoka, Sushi Osamu is a foreigner-friendly sushi ya that serves Hakata-style sushi where condiments play a big role in elevating the overall taste of different sushi neta (toppings). Out of the many restaurants that I went to in Fukuoka, Osamu-san is definitely the most friendly and entertaining sushi chef. Let's have a look at the pictures of my meal shall we:

I know that some photos make seem very ordinary but trust me, there's a lot of things done underneath the sushi neta; you can even see some of it in some pictures. Needless to say, it was a damn good dinner. Osamu-san can also speak some English and is willing to the go the extra mile to make his customers happy by telling jokes and performing "oishii maho" (delicious magic); or at least that's what he did for me and my family. Price-performance wise, I think it's reasonable because whatever you see here cost around 15000 yen, which is about right for such a sushi ya and considering he did serve us rather expensive items like Monkfish liver and whale bacon. I would very much like to come back and eat here again in the near future.
